I really needed this one today. It is perfect for how I was feeling towards Aaron with his language. I am at the point now where I just do not want to spend time with him. But I know that’s probably what you want, Lord. I know you would have me to be a witness for him if you open up those opportunities. Please continue to drawn him in to you. Please use me in any and all ways you can. =) Please continue to shape me into a soul-winner for you.
“Dear God, please forgive me. I sometimes look at those I see and get frustrated by the way they are. Some are angry and act ugly and even curse. Others have no desire to do what is right. Some just want to “party” and live like the world all the time. Some are lazy. Some are hurting and holding on to bitterness. I don’t always understand why they are that way. Then I, in my frustration, become angry and grumble. Forgive me for my ungodly attitudes and complaining. I am sorry. Help me to see the potential in others and to pray for them more and criticize them less. I pray that through my prayers to you and through my Christian testimony and example and through my words and deeds, these people would come to know you or come back and lay their issues on the altar. I pray that we all will lift our burdens to you and drop them at your feet, so that you can take them away and guide us in the way everlasting. Please relieve our griefs and burdens and replace them with your peace. Please bless us as we serve you. Please help us and pick us help when we stumble. Thank you for your mercies. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”

Today I am hurting and I am confused. It is so difficult for me to even see now how I am supposed to earn money to support myself. I am torn between the ideas of making money and losing my walk with God – not because money would do that, but because I know the tendency I would have to get swept away in my pursuit of the money. I can only cling to you, Lord, and trust that you will open up my future for me according to your plans and through your will…
(I know of your frustration. I am drawing your to me as you have asked. You have your assignment laid out for you, and you are making fine progress. When you finish the task, you will receive a breakthrough, and your next assignment. Do not think of finishing it too quickly. There is no such thing here.)
My assignment is to type out the Bible, cover to cover.
Lesson #1 From My Bible Project
The first lesson I can think of is that of the tower of Babel, where the people were building it to ‘make a name for themselves.’ I can think of many, many times that I have entered into some work partnership, or some project or business with that exact same mission—to simply build a name for myself or try to establish myself in some significant way. What a foolish mistake.

Dear Lord, thank you for such an amazing weekend. You’ve uncovered opportunities to build a real estate empire for your glory, chances to help friends invest in property, a chance to help Charrissa, amazing favor with them: Chris and Jeff, connections with other students, another buying tour in a month, and incredible learning opportunities.

Dear Lord, you have provided so many blessings for me that I can hardly think about them because they are so amazing. You are so amazing. I praise your name. You started by giving me hope in my future as a missionary to work for your kingdom. Then I struggled with income and learned to depend on God as my provider. He has always come through. And then a great victory with working with Charrissa and starting to learn real estate investing. What incredible blessings you have given dear Lord. I am a thousand times grateful. Please continue to train my eyes on you and your will. Help me to know your ways and to follow wherever you lead me. Please help me to find the mission field.

Tomorrow, I aim to start collecting donations. The plan is to call those who are most likely to say yes, including Joel, Roe, David, Aaron, Mark Wood hour, and maybe mom too. =)
When I have $1000 per month and donations, that should be enough to send in the McKinney’s to India; not for airfare, at least for living expenses.
Thank you, Lord, for giving me such good friends. Thank you for blessing me in this way. Thank you for giving me a hope with Sponsor A Missionary. Thank you for giving me this direction while I’m young. Thank you for all you’ve done for me. =) I feel so blessed.

I think it’s hilarious how I wanted a guitar and I went over to Aaron’s last night and he gave me a guitar to let me borrow. And what’s even funnier is that I before didn’t even like the guitar very much at all. God, it seems as though you were working something out. =)

Dear Lord, today I reach toward heaven and ask you, and depend on you, to be the source of victory in my work place and my life. May your banner waved over my work and life so that you might receive glory. I know that you bring love and joy into my life, and I am a better and richer person because of it. Help me to share your love and life with others. I love you. In Jesus name, amen. From churchgrowth.org
